ABOUT PROJECT GRADUATION
Lawrence High School in Lawrenceville, NJ
Project Graduation is a series of events designed to provide Lawrence High Schools seniors with safe, drug and alcohol-free ways to celebrate their accomplishments at this most exciting time in their lives. Since 1989, the parents of Lawrence High School students and the Lawrence Township community have sponsored Project Graduation.
Project Graduation is sanctioned by the Lawrence Township Board of Education to provide a safe celebration environment that preserves the lives of our graduates on their very special day. We are proud to report that over 80% of the Lawrence High School seniors have participated in this event each year and since its inception, the celebration has been 100% accident and incident free.
LHS Project Graduation Thanks Community for Support!!
Project Graduation’s mission is to provide a free-of-charge, safe, supervised, Alcohol and Drug free, ALL NIGHT event for each graduating class.
Another successful and safe graduation season has happened. The 18 committees worked tirelessly to make sure that our seniors had the opportunity to ‘party’ in a safe and supervised and most of all FUN environment, (not to mention the great PRIZES at 5 a.m.) celebrating their accomplishments. The estimated 90% turnout made it all worthwhile. The 75+ chaperones made the night run as smooth as silk.
Lawrence Township should be commended for supporting this event in creating a ‘peace of mind’ night for the communities in which we live. Without school, parents and businesses, this night could not happen. At a cost of $20,000-$30,000, we are proud to say we have achieved our goal since 1986!! The donations of cash, food and prizes, along with fundraising, are the major efforts to make this night successful.
Please continue to support this event for our seniors. Once again THANK YOU for caring.
